A Taste of Britain, located in the heart of Devon, is a small cozy tea shop with a relaxing atmosphere. We specialize in imported British novelty foods and beverages. We have a wide selection of homemade take out items. Easy Elegance, our catering business, strives to provide our customers with the freshest top quality ingredients to create a spectacular meal and memorable event.

Fablous place to have a tea party
I am English and I love their food.......it really is a true taste of Britain.
Wait service is slow and mostly unfriendly. Forks, knives, spoons and glasses look dirty. Tea pots are cracked. Chairs feel sticky and dirty and the tables are wobbly. The floor is uneven and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. All that said, the food tastes pretty good.
Was a little disappointed by the service. Waited 10 minutes for water after requesting it. Had to ask for napkin and utensils after food arrived because none was provided.
Ploughman's Plate was good, but would be improved by using crusty bread instead of silly crackers.
Great scones, terrific tea and sandwiches, relaxed atmosphere.

Their selections are wide and authentic. The food and service is great. It is unique in that it offers a great atmosphere to enjoy fabulous catering. They also have great evening events as well! We have used them many times and get rave reviews.
When I want of dose of traditional English life and can't pop across the pond, I head for A Taste of Britain!
A Taste of Britain is such a great place to get everything from a "lite bite" to a hearty meal. It's unique and the food is wonderful! Try their chicken salad on a croissant!
My daughter, Jackie Decker, works there and provides great customer service.
They have the best service. Jackie Decker acts like she is part of your family while waiting on you. What a great find!
A Taste of Britain is the best! Everything is wonderful from the food, to the staff, but especially their soups and scones!
The themed monthly dinners are a blast! A great place to bring friends! I highly recommend A Taste of Britain.
Everything at "A Taste of Britain" is mouth-wateringly delicious. Order the complete tea with the scones and tea sandwiches! They even sell Spotted Dick in the attached tea boutique for Brits who long for a taste of the homeland!
T o B is a delightful spot, esecially for it's famous themed dinners! Tara Buzan has a high standard of excellence- awesome for catering parties too, this is our first choice for Tea and beyond!
